Key points

  • Medvi's compounded tirzepatide (GLP-1 + GIP) costs $166/month at the current promotional price and $299/month at the regular price. It is all-inclusive and stays the same as your dose increases.
  • Twelve months costs $1,992 at the promo price or $3,588 at the regular price, and both are HSA/FSA-eligible.
  • Of the nine providers we rank with published compounded tirzepatide prices, Medvi is fifth: welludr $89, embody $119, DirectMeds $147 and altRx $149 cost less; HealthRx from $179, Sprout $199, TrimRx $259 and SHED $299 cost more.
  • The extra cost pays for video visits, scheduled monitoring, a dietician and care coaching. Medvi's 4.3 from 14,987 Trustpilot reviews mostly praises that support; its 1-star reviews concern renewals and refunds.

What is Medvi's tirzepatide price, promo and regular?

Quick answerMedvi charges $166 a month for compounded tirzepatide on its current promotion and $299 a month at the regular rate. The price covers the medication, video visits with a provider, ongoing monitoring, a dietician with care coaching, and free shipping. There is no membership fee and no increase as your dose climbs. HSA/FSA funds are accepted.

The key word is "promotional". The material we reviewed gives no end date for the $166 rate, so if you expect to stay on tirzepatide for a year or longer, budget on $299 and check the live rate on Medvi's site before your first charge. Medvi's semaglutide plan works the same way ($99/month promo, $199 regular); see the Medvi cost guide for that breakdown.

At first had a hard time canceling my monthly subscription

GLP-1 (Compounded)

“MEDVi offers a lot of assistance with the RN, Provider. and Coaching Support - I like that assistance. However, they need to ensure for a solid audio-video connection to see whom you're speaking with (there's too much FRAUD going on today) especially when it comes to your health. It's very important to see and get there credentials/whom you're speaking with about your health - you know, the HIPPA ACT Policy. Otherwise, I really enjoy this Rx, it really curves your appetite. My PRAYER is NO side effects so that I can continue and accomplish my goal. I started this program in March 2026. It cost too much not to receive stellar service.”

Caution is advised

“Caution is advised. The operational efficiency of this company is significantly lagging, causing an impediment to my regular medication intake schedule. Regrettably, their customer support inadequacies persist, coupled with a lack of responsibility for service deficiencies. In addition, their pricing surpasses that of competitors. It is my recommendation to refrain from engaging with this establishment due to their unreliability in ensuring timely delivery of essential medications for weekly GLP-1 dosages.”

Lots of confusion and delays

“I transitioned to Medvi from another company and have been using GLP-1s for over a year. Medvi didn't review my history and continuously sent me a level 1 prescription when I needed a level 5. It took weeks to get each one resolved, including multiple calls/emails with customer service, and having to explain why I didn't want to pay more money for the "extra prescriptions". I paid for three months, but will not be renewing after these months are over.”

I signed up for medication and was...scammed

“I signed up for medication and was charged without ever having spoken to a medical professional. They ordered medication that was an incorrect dose. I met with their medical provider and she agreed to change to the correct dose. The change was never made. I called numerous times to correct the problem, I was assured that it was corrected. It never was. I called to cancel the order and request a refund. I was told I would have a refund in 5-10 days. I didn't receive confirmation of the refund and was getting notified that the prescription was being processed. I called again and was told to ignore the notification that it was cancelled and I would receive a refund. The order was shipped to me. It is not labeled with the correct dosage and the company is now refusing the refund I was promised. I have been on the phone and in email communication almost daily. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with MEDVI. They are not trustworthy. They will lie to you and refuse to honor their word.”

Medvi shady practices.

“Medvi promised GLP 1 medication for $179.00 monthly with a prepaid yearly subscription. Unfortunately the term was not a complete year. After just 11 shipments they renewed my subscription without any advance notice. They did not give me a choice. The amount I was charged previously was $2,148.01. If you divide this amount by 11 it does not come out to $179.00. When I did discover the charge applied to my card, I contacted Medvi that same day to cancel my subscription. They replied that they have cancelled it the following August in 2027. They would not allow me to cancel the current subscription. Not until I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the FTC, and my State Attorney General did they finally refund my subscription. I would not deal with this company. Even though the medication was supposed to be monthly, the dosage that I was prescribed was two injections weekly. The dosage amount and the amount that they sent did not last for 8 injections for the month.”

Medvi tirzepatide over 3, 6 and 12 months

Tirzepatide is stepped up over several months, and results build on the same timeline, so plan for an ongoing cost:

TimelineAt $166/mo (promo)At $299/mo (regular)
3 months$498$897
6 months$996$1,794
12 months$1,992$3,588
  • Higher doses cost the same. This matters more for tirzepatide than semaglutide, because maintenance doses are where per-dose pricing elsewhere rises fastest.
  • Pre-tax payment. HSA/FSA eligibility cuts the effective cost by your marginal tax rate.

“Clinically speaking, losing around 10 to 15 percent of starting body weight over a year is very much within the expected and healthy range for semaglutide treatment.”

“medvi is the best triz provider i ever had (changed 3 providers so far)”

Where Medvi's $166 ranks among nine tirzepatide providers

Published compounded tirzepatide prices at our last check, with each provider's terms:

ProviderTirzepatide per monthTerms
welludr$8912-month plan, billed monthly
embody$119 (reg. $129)Flat monthly, no commitment
DirectMeds$147Flat, no membership; injections or sublingual drops
altRx$149 (reg. $299)Same price at every dose; pause or cancel anytime; BNPL
Medvi$166 (reg. $299)Monthly, all-inclusive with video visits and coaching
HealthRxfrom $179Per month; overnight cold-chain shipping
Sprout$199Monthly; $200 off the first month
TrimRx$259No long-term contract; unlimited check-ins
SHED$299Monthly; 20% off month one; results guarantee

Look at the terms, not just the price. The four cheaper providers run lighter programs: welludr's $89 requires a 12-month plan, embody and DirectMeds are self-serve, and altRx's $149 is a promo against the same $299 regular price Medvi has. Medvi costs $17 to $77 a month more than those four, and that difference pays for video visits, scheduled monitoring and a dietician. It is worth paying only if support is what drives your results. For reference, brand-name Zepbound is $1,249/month cash at altRx; the tirzepatide provider guide covers the branded route.

Medvi tirzepatide patients on support, billing and dose

Medvi holds 4.3 on Trustpilot from 14,987 reviews, and the September 2026 reviews we read focus on clinical contact more than price: "My provider was very helpful. She listened to my concerns and made proper adjustments." "Nurse was very informative and pleasant to talk with." A 4-star reviewer on the compounded GLP-1 plan values the RN, provider and coaching support but wants a dependable video connection to see who is on the call, adding: "It cost too much not to receive stellar service."

Critical reviews from the same month are about money, not the drug: a prepaid annual plan that renewed after 11 shipments without notice, a charge taken before any clinician contact followed by a wrong-dose shipment, and a cancellation that took effort. One reviewer says Medvi's tirzepatide tops out at 11.125 mg; we have not verified this and have asked. On Reddit, a commenter in a verified thread called Medvi "the best triz provider i ever had (changed 3 providers so far)", and year-long write-ups list the ongoing monthly cost as the one drawback. Our Medvi legitimacy audit has the full record.

Is GLP-1 Treatment Right for You?

GLP-1 medication is prescription-only: a licensed clinician has to decide it is appropriate, and it is not a fit for everyone. Side effects are possible, and they tend to show up in the first few weeks while your body adapts.

Results are usually best when the medication is paired with simple daily habits, such as balanced meals and regular movement.

For both safety and lasting progress, pick a provider that screens you properly before prescribing and keeps following up once treatment starts.

Woman getting a GLP-1 weight loss injection pen ready

Should you pay $166 a month for Medvi tirzepatide?

Yes if you want a clinician you actually see, dose changes made inside scheduled monitoring, and a dietician to help with the eating changes tirzepatide brings. At the promo price, the premium over self-serve providers is small enough that the support layer costs very little extra.

No if you are self-directed and price-conscious, or if you expect to stay past the promotion at $299. On the same molecule, welludr's $89 on a 12-month plan or embody's $119 with no commitment would save you roughly $560 to $2,520 a year depending on which Medvi rate applies. Medvi also bills monthly only; a 4-star reviewer's request for an every-other-month option shows the limit if you want to buy as needed.
