Our verdict in brief

Among our affiliate providers, SHED is the best fit for coaching and accountability. Its 4.6 average from 1,134 Trustpilot reviews includes many detailed, named mentions of onboarding and coaching staff, which suggests the support is real rather than a marketing line.

The guarantee (lose 5% in 120 days or get your money back) is the most concrete promise we have found and lowers your risk. The catch is cost: $199-$299/month is two to four times the entry price at welludr or embody, and if you would not use the coaching, that extra money buys little.

Choose SHED for medication plus genuine support with a safety net. If you only want the lowest-cost GLP-1, start with cheaper providers.

SHED is the GLP-1 program to look at if you want coaching built in. Every plan includes health coaching alongside compounded semaglutide (from $199/month) or compounded tirzepatide (from $299/month), and the first month is 20% off.

More than 150,000 members use the service. The process runs entirely online: you complete a visit, and if a provider approves you, the medication ships directly to your home.

Plans are HSA/FSA approved. SHED also offers the most specific guarantee in our ranking: if you do not lose 5% of your body weight in 120 days, you get your money back.

SHED averages 4.6 from 1,134 Trustpilot reviews, and recent reviews focus on the people behind the program. One member said of her onboarding call, 'she was amazing, VERY informative... made me feel very comfortable on my journey', which fits the coaching-led pitch.

The trade-off is cost. At $199-$299/month, SHED has the highest compounded prices among our affiliate providers, so you are paying for coaching and the guarantee as well as the medication.

Savannah - real person

“The app & chat function are a little clunky, but improving. Once you start emailing (not chatting) with a real person, Savannah was the best. Another agent told me I was SOL, but Savannah went a step further and resolved my issue.”

Continued to charge me for months after...

“Continued to charge me for months after I stopped the medication. Exclusively AI customer support so don't expect any help. I was told to not expect a refund so I am having to go through my credit card company. Extremely shady company. Edit: in response to their reply, I already contacted support and was told that they will not refund the $1200 they took and delivered nothing.”

How we researched this

This review of SHED starts with the provider'spublished prices, plans and policies. We then compare those details with regulatory and peer-reviewed medical references and weigh them against what real customers report. Every price and plan detail was checked on the provider's own published information, because a provider's claims about itself are not accepted until we confirm them.
