Our verdict in brief
embody is one of the easiest providers to recommend for affordable GLP-1 treatment, partly because so much of its record is public. You get flat $69-$119/month pricing with everything included, free 1-2 day cold-chain shipping, LegitScript certification, US-based 503A pharmacies, a full refund if you are not approved, and 9,604 Trustpilot reviews averaging 3.8, with recent ones regularly praising customer-service communication.
Keep the limits in mind: it is compounded-only and injection-only, there is no coaching program, and a 3.8 average means some experiences go wrong. If you want a low-commitment, low-friction way to start GLP-1 treatment at a clear price, embody is among the strongest choices in our ranking.

embody plans and current prices
Each card shows a published price with its conditions and links straight to the provider.
embody is a low-cost, fully online way to get doctor-prescribed GLP-1 treatment: compounded semaglutide costs $69/month and compounded tirzepatide $119/month, with no insurance, hidden fees or clinic visits involved. You start with a health questionnaire that takes about 5 minutes.
A medical practitioner then reviews your chart, which embody says usually happens within 24 hours and often in under 5. Approved orders ship in 1-2 days in tracked, insured, temperature-controlled packaging. embody is LegitScript-certified and fills prescriptions through US-based 503A compounding pharmacies.
On Trustpilot, embody averages 3.8 from 9,604 reviews, a mixed-to-positive record. Recent reviews keep returning to two points.
The first is proactive customer service: one tirzepatide patient writes, 'from my very first inquiry I've had excellent communication... customer service updated me every step.' The second is predictable pricing: 'Love the fact that there are no surprises as in costly up front cost.'
An average of 3.8 also means some customers had bad experiences, so read both the positive and negative reviews before you decide, as you would with any provider.
Is embody legit? What we checked
Yes. embody is a real, US-based telehealth weight-loss company with LegitScript certification. State-licensed doctors, supervised by embody's own medical director, write the prescriptions, and US-based, state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies fill them.
- Certified by LegitScript
- Medication filled by US-based, state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies
- State-licensed doctors backed by a medical director and nursing team
- Published flat prices: $69/mo semaglutide, $119/mo tirzepatide
- Money back in full if a provider doesn't approve you
- 3.8/5 average from 9,604 Trustpilot reviews
By “legitimate” we mean a real telehealth business working with licensed clinicians and pharmacies. It says nothing about the results you will get. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved brand-name drugs. Check eligibility and current terms with the provider before you start.

What do Reddit users say about embody?
What do embody users say on Reddit? Recent Reddit comments back up embody's Trustpilot record and add blunt detail on approval speed, dosing and support. Every excerpt below comes from a real public comment:
Embody is great if you don't need to actually talk to anyone. But if you are okay getting the default and starting from the beginning they are great. I used to get Sema from OrderlyMeds and after 1 year and stalling and feeling not so well I quit, then over 5 months I balooned up 20. So I found embody and their new low price for triz and was okay with starting at the 2.5 (or slightly lower because of the b12).
The med check was quick and I was approved same day, got my vial in just one week. Now 3 weeks in they bumped my dose to 5 (or 4.2) and shipped it out already. When I do the check in they will decide if I stick with 5 or go to 7.5 following month. But yeah if I wanted to get 10 from the start that may not have been possible. Everything is on autopilot, that's how they keep costs low.
I just switched to Embody from NativeMed. I haven't received my scrip yet but the process has been good so far. I placed my order on Monday, dr approved it Tuesday, it shipped today (Thursday) and scheduled to arrive tomorrow. And they matched my last dosage.
Hi, do you have an update you can share? I was planning on purchasing, but decided to look on Reddit first. Do they send the vial with liquid already mixed in? Also do they send needles?
They sent two small vials and 6 needles with alcohol wipes. Everything is ready to go, I just pull 98 units, so almost a full syringe (15mg)
I started about a month ago and so far so good. I think they revamped their program cause web med is sponsoring them from what I read. $129 for all levels of tri and no contract and I already moved up my dosages with no issues or kick back. They have been very prompt with responses and mail. My promotion also says if I lose nothing or not satisfied that refund is given.
How do you submit a refill. I just did my third shot and was told to reach out to them for my next fill once I hit the third. My dashboard doesn't show me a message option though or refill request option. So I'm confused.
Try texting this number [support line] this is how I ask questions and complete my monthly check-ins for refills.
You can email them [support address] or text [support line]. Let them know why you're reaching out and they'll help you from there. They've always been quick to respond to me and very kind and helpful. You can schedule appointments with providers through email or text too if you need your dose increased. There should be a monthly check in form in your portal as well that you fill out at the end of each month regarding how everything's going with your GLP1.
The kind and helpful responses are AI. No ability to help. Just nice words like “I understand your frustration.”
“Nurse called me today asking have I taken the shot and if yes have I experienced any symptoms.”
Ordered on 8/6, medication delivered 8/14 - with a clinical follow-up call after the first dose.
“I got Sema from Embody. I got my order within a week of being approved. They did overnight shipping.”
“$129 for all levels of tri and no contract - I already moved up my dosages with no issues or kick back.”
“Arrived the next day from the pharmacy. Packaged nicely with ice packs.”
Three vials at $129 each; the honest catch: about two weeks between approval and the medication actually shipping - transit itself was next-day.
Order sat at the pharmacy for a couple of days - then, after a comment on embody's Facebook post: “they contacted me right away... rushed my order. I had it next day.”
“They just billed for the 2nd month - the amount is correct.” Gripes: the pharmacy premixed an anti-nausea ingredient without asking, and the 50-unit doses were larger than expected.
“No complaints.”
What the threads add up to: Reddit and Trustpilot agree on embody: medication arrives quickly once it ships, dose increases go through without pushback, and the service is self-serve by design. As one user put it, 'everything is on autopilot, that's how they keep costs low'. The trade-offs follow from that model: little human contact, a refill process one user had to ask Reddit about, and a gap between approval and shipment. If timing matters, reorder well before your current supply runs out. The $129 figure Reddit users quote matches embody's regular tirzepatide price ($119 promotional / $129 regular).
