Clinically checked · Our review process

Short answerChecked compounded tirzepatide prices range from $89 to $299 a month. welludr is the lowest at $89 on a 12-month plan, embody at $119 is the cheapest with no commitment, and Medvi at $166 is all-inclusive and has one of the two largest review bases. For brand-name Zepbound, altRx charges $1,249/month cash, and ro's KwikPen starts at $299 for month one plus membership; where insurance applies, ro can cost far less. Every legitimate source requires a prescription.Prices checked on each provider’s website on October 16, 2026.

Key points

  • Across the eight licensed providers we track, verified compounded tirzepatide costs $89-$299/month. welludr's $89 (12-month plan) is the lowest; embody's $119 is the lowest with no commitment.
  • Brand Zepbound online costs $1,249/month cash at altRx, or starts at $299 for the first month (then $399-449) plus membership through ro's KwikPen route, which can cost much less if insurance covers it.
  • Every legitimate seller requires a prescription after review by a licensed provider. A site offering tirzepatide without one is a warning sign, not a deal.
  • Tirzepatide reached up to 22.5% average body-weight loss in trials compared with about 15% for semaglutide, which is why it is the pricier molecule.

Why is tirzepatide in such high demand?

Tirzepatide, the active ingredient in Zepbound and Mounjaro, acts on two receptors, GLP-1 and GIP, while semaglutide (Wegovy, Ozempic) acts on GLP-1 only. The trial results drive demand: up to 22.5% average body-weight loss with tirzepatide compared with about 15% with semaglutide.

On the data it is the stronger option, and it is priced that way, so knowing real market prices matters. Below is every price we have verified, lowest first.

If you have not picked a molecule yet, read tirzepatide vs semaglutide first.

Great Check In Appointment

“Today I had a great follow up, check-in appointment with a nurse practitioner after having a surgical procedure done. We went over expectations, where I met with my dosages, how to continue with my dosages now that I have recovered from surgery. All in all it was a great experience; so far everything has gone really well with this MedVi tirzepatide health adventure I have undertaken.”

This is my first order with TrimRX

“This is my first order with TrimRX. I've not even received the order and I'm already having problems. The RX that was sent to my patient portal was not even me. I tried to reach out via chat....nothing. Email? No response. The phone call was automated and someone should be reaching out to me soon. I've yet to hear back. Email codes are not being received by me and the charge on my next bill is double what they'd told me initially. $399 for a month of Tirzepatide? I could purchase Mounjaro for less. In the meantime....rx has been shipped out without anyone contacting me about the incorrect rx information. Very very dissatisfied and will not be ordering from them again. Too much of a hassle.”

I have used several different companies

“I have used several different companies for compounded Tirzepatide. All with no side effects. Within 1 month of taking Sprout Health compounded Tirzepatide I began losing handfuls of hair. Starting the second months vial, lost even more hair. Had to throw it away. Would not recommend under any circumstance.”

I am going on 3 months with Altrx

“I am going on 3 months with Altrx and it hasn't been bad. I read these negative reviews and I find it hard to believe that we are all with the same company. They always respond to my messages with in 24 hours. I receive my shipment of tirzepatide with in a couple days after I follow up. Plus they haven't bumped my price it's been $148 since I started. I like Altrx. Plus I've lost 10 pounds. The only side effect I have is being sleepy but it's getting better.”

“I have been with altrx for few months. I take tirzepatide from them. I always get everything on time! I just felt they needed a good review since other companies I used suck and scam me.”

They charge you every 21 days

“First at all, has to say that the tirzepatide it's compound with Glycine, that's the only point that I like it, because with glycine that's not had bad reports like with Vit B. The medical communication care teams it's horrible, that's false they respond fast, never respond, in my case I just have a check in after the first dose, it make feel the company, that they are just selling merchandise, very poor service. The support email, they never answered, I sent them 2 email with not response. I decide to call and CANCEL. They do answer the call and Cancel my subscription. Why I cancel? Because they CHARGE EVERY 21 DAYS, that's mean you pay more more than the medication you get, that's the worst part. I don't know why the people doesn't mention this issue, they said it's for an advanced, but even there policies says that in 365 days period, you are going to pay 18 quotes.... So I decided to cancel, I don't know you, but I treasure my money, and paying for nothing it's not a option”

So far so good!

“I joined in June 2026. At first I was worried cause the ad I saw said $129 a month for tirzepatide but when I signed up they said it was an error and it would be $149 a month forever. And so far it's been great. My dose has increased but my price hasn't. I haven't had any trouble with communication via messaging them. My experience so far has been great, but I am not a social person I appreciate them checking up on me monthly and not annoying me with weekly check ins.”

Just started week 3 of tirzepatide

“Only on week 3; however, from my very first inquiry I've had excellent communication from customer service. When I was debating about the product and asking questions, the responses were always very prompt. When I made the decision to start, customer service updated me every step during process without me even needing to inquiry. All steps took place on time as informed and product shipped within days.”

Can you buy brand-name Zepbound online?

Yes, through two verified routes.
  • altRx sells brand Zepbound for a flat $1,249/month cash next to its compounded plans, with Buy Now, Pay Later available. One price, no membership.
  • ro sells the Zepbound KwikPen from $299 for the first month (then $399-449/month) plus its Body membership ($39 the first month, then $74-$149/month). Because ro bills the medication separately, insurance can pay where your plan covers it, which can make ro's route far cheaper than any cash price here.
If your plan might cover tirzepatide, check that first using our GLP-1 insurance guide. Every brand route and what it includes is in Zepbound price online.

Tirzepatide plans and prices by provider

Each provider's published tirzepatide plan, sorted from lowest price, with the terms listed under every price.

Is a prescription required for tirzepatide?

Yes, at every legitimate source, including every provider in the table. You complete a medical intake, and a licensed provider decides whether GLP-1 treatment is right for you. Approval is not automatic; embody, for example, refunds in full if you are not approved. Two safety points come up often:
  • Moving from semaglutide to tirzepatide has no mg-for-mg dose conversion. Your prescriber restarts titration at tirzepatide's starting dose.
  • Dose increases go through your provider, never your own calculation.
The prescription step is not an obstacle to get around. It is what separates medicine from the gray market.

Which tirzepatide provider is right for you?

Start from your main constraint:
  • Lowest price, happy to commit for a year: welludr at $89.
  • Lowest price with no commitment: embody at $119, with 1-2 day shipping.
  • Dislike needles: DirectMeds, the only sublingual-drops option, at $147 flat.
  • May want brand-name later: altRx, at $149 compounded with Zepbound on the same shelf.
  • Want a person involved: Medvi at $166 all-inclusive, with one of the two largest verified review bases.
  • Want something at stake: SHED's money-back guarantee.
Every provider in this table is legitimate, so the decision is about fit, not safety.

What is the best place to get tirzepatide online?

There is no single best tirzepatide provider in 2026; there is a short list filtered by budget and how long you will commit. The verified lowest price is $89/month (welludr, 12-month plan), the lowest with no strings is $119 (embody), and brand Zepbound costs $1,249 cash (altRx) or possibly much less through ro with insurance.

Whichever you choose, stay in the licensed system: a real prescription, a real pharmacy and a published price. This article is general information, not medical advice; a licensed provider decides whether tirzepatide is appropriate for you.
