Key points

  • DirectMeds charges a flat $147/month for semaglutide or tirzepatide, as injections or sublingual drops, at any dose. The doctor review, medication and free 1-2 day shipping are included, and you can cancel anytime.
  • For tirzepatide, $147 is the third-lowest price in our ranking: $112/month below TrimRx and $152 below SHED. Only welludr ($89, 12-month plan) and embody ($119) are cheaper, and neither offers drops.
  • For semaglutide, five providers cost less: welludr $49, embody $69, altRx $89, Medvi $99 promo and HealthRx $99 prepaid, a difference of $576-$1,176 a year.
  • Flat pricing removes two costs that appear later in treatment: your price never rises as your dose increases, and a clinician-directed switch between medications does not change your bill.

How much does DirectMeds cost per month?

Quick answerDirectMeds costs $147/month, flat, for semaglutide or tirzepatide, as injections or sublingual drops, at any dose. The price includes the doctor review, the medication and free 1-2 day shipping. There are no membership fees, consultation charges, dose-based increases or insurance forms. You can cancel anytime.

Most GLP-1 quotes force four choices that each move the price: which medication, which dose, which format, and which add-ons. At DirectMeds none of them change the number, because there are no add-ons and everything else costs the same. That leaves a single question: is $147 the right price for you?

In speaking to your reps I found them very polite and helpful

“In speaking to your reps I found them very polite and helpful. I appreciated all the help. However, the doc was not very helpful. I couldn't access his message. However, I did get a message that my meds were on the way. Since I am not good at accessing my account, it is probably my fault. I would prefer to speak to your reps rather than go through an on line account.”

My first bottle of NAD that I received

“My first bottle of NAD that I received was 50 mg. I was to take 20 units Monday through Friday. I only had enough medication for two weeks. I then called and requested an increase to 1000 mg of NAD and I am waiting for it to be delivered. I want to be sure that I will receive enough for 30 days. My first batch was only enough supply for two weeks and I was sent no syringes. Are you going to make up for the shortage?”

I had an order placed since Sep 4th

“I had an order placed since Sep 4th. It did not actually ship until I had called 3 times. It just said "Label Created". The order was damaged in transit and the contents discarded. When I went online to the chat, the AI kept saying the order was delivered. I had to call in and get things straightened out. Now I am waiting for the replacement order to ship.”

Is $147 a good price for tirzepatide and semaglutide?

It depends entirely on which medication you take.

Tirzepatide: a strong deal. $147 is the third-lowest tirzepatide price in our ranking. It is $112/month below TrimRx ($259), $152 below SHED ($299), and $19 below Medvi's $166 promotional rate. Against the expensive tier, that adds up to $1,344-$1,824 a year. Only welludr ($89, 12-month plan) and embody ($119) charge less, and neither sells a needle-free format.

Semaglutide: beatable. Five providers charge less for semaglutide: welludr $49, embody $69, altRx $89, Medvi $99 (promo) and HealthRx $99 (prepaid), a gap of $576-$1,176 a year. Unless you specifically want drops or the simplicity of a single flat price, the budget tier is the better fit for semaglutide-only patients.

Lowest-priced GLP-1 plans

The cheapest published plans, sorted from lowest price, with the terms listed under every price.

How does DirectMeds' flat price protect you later in treatment?

Two GLP-1 costs only appear a few months in, and DirectMeds' flat model cancels out both:

  • Dose increases: standard titration steps you up through several dose levels over the first months. Providers that price by dose re-quote you at each step. At DirectMeds, $147 stays $147.
  • Switching medications: a meaningful minority of patients move from semaglutide to tirzepatide, or back, because of side effects or a plateau. Elsewhere that usually means a new plan at a new price. At DirectMeds both cost the same, so a switch your clinician recommends does not touch your bill.

If you want one predictable line item no matter how treatment changes, this is the model's quiet advantage, and few providers offer it.

Do DirectMeds' needle-free drops cost more than injections?

DirectMeds charges the same $147 for drops, and no other provider in our ranking sells them, so the table above does not really apply to drops patients. The fair comparison is against the cheapest injection: choosing drops at DirectMeds costs $98/month more than welludr's $49 semaglutide.

  • If needle fear would keep you off treatment entirely, $98/month is the price of actually starting, and that is small next to another year without progress.
  • If you would be fine with injections, the extra cost buys convenience only, and the budget tier deserves a look first.
